Context
The Holmarcom Group organized its annual seminar, which brought together 140 managers from various subsidiaries of the Group. For this edition, the central theme selected was artificial intelligence (AI).

- Develop cohesion and a sense of belonging
- Inspire managers by exploring the applications and challenges of artificial intelligence
- Foster the exchange of ideas and experiences on AI among subsidiaries
- Stimulate collaboration and creativity through a fun AI-focused team building activity
Challenge
Adopt a comprehensive approach (communication materials, event setup, and content) in designing a game that reflects the theme of AI and provides participants with an immersive, educational, and inspiring experience to encourage collaboration and stimulate innovation.

This elements of this game were customized to reflect Holmarcom’s mission, vision, and values.
The narrative and content were crafted to highlight the different uses of AI and how it can be a performance driver.
This game is designed to be suitable for managers from different seniority levels and various departments.
A unique graphic identity was developed for this nomad game, incorporating Holmarcom brand elements and the thematic colors. This branding reinforced the game’s immersive side and made the materials visually appealing and distinctive.
An Android Package Kit (APK) was custom made to enhance the gaming experience by integrating AI-driven features and interactive elements, allowing participants to engage directly with the digital and physical components of the game.
Game design
Pyramid
The physical pyramid served as the central element of the game. It contained hidden compartments, physical clues, and interactive elements that participants needed to explore and manipulate to uncover answers.
Tablet and APK
The tablet housed an APK that contained digital riddles and puzzles. It also featured an AI chatbot named AIman, with whom participants could interact to solve some of the challenges.
Storytelling
Follow Adam, a cryptologist and historian, as he discovers the secrets of the very first artificial intelligence created by the civilization of Atlantis on the dark web. With the help of his virtual friend AIMAN, Adam must secure this AI before a malicious group can get hold of it. Are you ready for this exciting adventure? Join Adam and AIMAN now to solve a series of puzzles and uncover the ultimate secret of Atlantis.
How it unfolds
Briefing
Participants were gathered and briefed on the overall objective of the game. They were introduced to the characters Adam and AIman and given the backstory through a video.
Access to the pyramid
The physical pyramid was introduced. With the help of Game Masters, participants learned how to interact with the physical clues and the tablet providing digital puzzles and access to the AI chatbot, AIman.
Gameplay
Quizzes and puzzles on the tablet test the participants knowledge of AI principles and applications, reinforcing the educational aspect of the game. Successfully answering quiz questions unlocks further clues and access to more sections of the pyramid.
