Context
Majorel organized an open house event to welcome and evaluate pre-selected candidates for teleconsultant positions in various sectors. The goal was to assess specific skills such as communication in both French and English.
Objective
Evaluate the communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities of pre-selected candidates for teleconsultant positions in various sectors.
Challenge
Majorel needed a dynamic and engaging way to evaluate candidates’ soft skills, communication abilities, and teamwork under pressure. Traditional interviews were insufficient for the depth of assessment required.

Mixed teams
Candidates, who did not know each other beforehand, were grouped into mixed teams to enhance the assessment of their teamwork and collaboration skills.
Custom puzzles
Personalized puzzles were designed to evaluate candidates’ skills, particularly their communication abilities in both French and English.
Time-constrained challenges
Teams had to solve the puzzles and complete their mission within 30 minutes, adding a layer of urgency and stress to better assess their performance.
Bilingual Execution
The escape room was conducted in both French and English to evaluate the candidates’ proficiency in both languages.

Outcome
The custom escape room was a success, providing Majorel with a comprehensive evaluation tool for their candidates. The dynamic and immersive nature of the escape room allowed for a more accurate assessment of each candidate’s skills and suitability for the teleconsultant roles. The event also fostered a positive and engaging experience for the candidates, reflecting well on Majorel’s innovative approach to recruitment.
